Problem: Around 2016, perhaps due to the increased access to higher education, Fantastic Sams owners noted a decline in numbers enrolling in cosmetology school, directly translating to fewer potential employees in the job market. In order to attract stylists to the brand, Fantastic Sams needed a digital campaign that highlighted the youth and flare of the company.

People: Targeted at stylists fresh from school, this campaign was aimed at driven females between the ages of 18 and 30 who are passionate about their craft and excited to continue to grow. Some pieces were specifically targeted to the Minnesota market, while others were for national consumption via social media.

Plan: Craft an incentivized Facebook and email marketing campaign highlighting the opportunities for growth available with Fantastic Sams. Post 3 times per week from stores requesting corporate support and create flyers for local events.
